Am I eligible for a Circular subscription?

To be eligible for a Circular subscription, you must meet several criteria. We use Singpass to verify your identity and financial details to confirm your eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
• Residency: You must be a
  • Singapore citizen
  • Permanent Resident
  • Or hold one of the following passes:

    • Employment Pass / S Pass

    • EntrePass / PEP / ONE Pass

      Pass Validity Requirement If you are a pass holder, your pass must have at least 6 months (>180 days) of remaining validity on the date you apply for a subscription. This allows us to verify your eligibility and ensure your subscription can be safely supported throughout its minimum commitment period.

• Income: You must have an annual income of at least $10,000.

Does being eligible mean that my orders will be approved?

While eligibility allows you to place an order, all orders are subject to approval. Approval depends on your financial and credit information. This approach ensures that subscriptions are manageable within your financial means and maintains the safety and security of Circular devices.

Occasionally, we may need more information to complete our verification and credit checks. In such instances, we will contact you via email and send reminders through WhatsApp.

Why we verify your identity?

We need to make sure Circular devices are safe and secure. We do this by ensuring only legitimate customers are able to use our services. We treat all information about you with the utmost respect and care.

Spending Power

Once verified, you’ll be allocated a monthly credit limit, which is what we call Spending Power. This is the amount you can spend on subscriptions each month and is based on our assessment of your financial standing. Our goal is to ensure everyone can subscribe within their limits.

Privacy and security

Circular takes data privacy and security seriously. We have partnered with Singpass, the Singapore government’s trusted digital identity platform, to make your experience seamless and safe. We use Singpass approved encrypted connections so your personal information stays secure.

Why do you need my Notice of Assessment (NOA)?

We use your NOA to help establish your Spending Power. We recommend you share it with us to get the best outcome for your Circular subscription. If you opt out of sharing, you may be asked to submit documents for the team for review, which will delay your approval process.
