# Can I end my subscription early?

Yes, you can end your subscription early, but there are financial implications to consider. If you cancel before the end of your chosen minimum subscription period, you're required to pay the remaining monthly payments as an Early Cancellation Charge.

**Example scenario:**

* Subscription starts on 05/01/2024 for 12 months at $100 per month.
* You requested an early cancellation on 01/08/2024 after 7 monthly payments.
* You owe $500 for the remaining 5 months ($100 x 5) and must return the device.
* **Total due for early cancellation with device return is $500.**

After payment, we'll arrange for the device's return at no cost. Failure to return the device incurs a Non-Return Fee. The Non-Return Fee is calculated as the Recommended Retail Price (as set by Circular) minus 50% of the total amount you’ve already paid through your Subscription Payments (inclusive of the paid Early Cancellation Charge).

* Subscription starts on 05/01/2024 for 12 months at $100 per month.
* You requested an early cancellation on 01/08/2024 after 7 monthly payments.
* Early Cancellation Charge is $500 for the remaining 5 months and you’re unable to return the device.

Assuming device RRP is $2000:

* Non-Return Fee is calculated as $2000 - 50% of ($700 + $500) = $1400.
* **Total due for early cancellation without device return is $1400 + $500 = $1900.**
