Will my subscription be terminated if I misuse my Circular device?
Yes, misusing your Circular device could lead to the termination of your subscription. Circular reserves the right to terminate subscriptions under specific conditions detailed in our Terms of Use. If your actions fail to comply with Circular's policies or breach any local laws and regulations, as outlined in the designated clauses of the Terms of Use, your subscription could be subject to termination.
\
Consequences of Termination:
Early Termination Charge with Device Return:
If Circular terminates your subscription due to a policy violation or breach, you are required to pay an Early Termination Charge and return the device. The Early Termination Charge is calculated as the remaining monthly payments until the end of your subscription term.
\
:::tip Example:
- Subscription starts on 05/01/2024 for 12 months at $100 per month.
- Violation discovered and subscription terminated on 01/08/2024 after 7 monthly payments.
- You owe $500 for the remaining 5 months ($100 x 5) and must return the device.
- Total due for early termination with device return is $500.

\
Early Termination Charge with Non-Return Fee:
If the device is not returned upon termination, you will incur both the Early Termination Charge and a Non-Return Fee. The Non-Return Fee is calculated as the Recommended Retail Price (as set by Circular) minus 50% of the total amount you’ve already paid through your Subscription Payments.
\
:::tip Example:
- Subscription starts on 05/01/2024 for 12 months at $100 per month.
- Violation discovered and subscription terminated on 01/08/2024 after 7 monthly payments.
- Early Termination Charge is $500 for the remaining 5 months and you’re unable to return the device.
\n Assuming device RRP is $2000:
- Non-Return Fee is calculated as $2000 - 50% of ($700 + $500) = $1400.
- Total due for early termination without device return is $1400 + $500 = $1900.
