Are there late payment fees?

Yes, for any subscription payment that is overdue, a Late Payment Fee of $19 (inclusive of GST) will be applied to each individual subscription. This means that if you have multiple subscriptions and payments are delayed, each will attract its own late payment fee. The fee is set at a fixed rate, is capped at $19, and will not increase over time. Additionally, this fee does not accumulate; it's a one-time charge for each late payment instance. In the following month, the late payment fee will be automatically included in your invoice.

How will I be notified of my late payments?

If your monthly payment deduction is unsuccessful, we’ll promptly notify you through our automated system. You'll receive late payment alerts via email and SMS. For subscribers in Australia, we send up to 10 notifications per month, ensuring you have plenty of reminders and opportunities to resolve the issue.

To avoid delays in receiving these notifications, it's crucial to keep your contact information up to date. Additionally, adding us to your Safe Senders list will prevent our emails from landing in your spam folder.

However, if your payment is managed by Splitit, you’ll be notified of any unsuccessful deductions via email, with a 7-day grace period to resolve the issue. If the payment remains unresolved, Splitit may attempt additional charges in line with their Terms and Conditions.

What happens if I repeatedly miss my payments?

Repeated late payments can have significant consequences on your current and future subscriptions with us. Consistent failure to meet payment deadlines may affect your eligibility to maintain your existing subscription and could also hinder your ability to subscribe to new services in the future. We strongly encourage all our customers to ensure payments are made punctually to avoid any negative impact on their subscription status.

What happens if I decided not to make any subscription payments?

If you decide not to make any subscription payments, please be aware of the following actions Circular may take:

\

  • Debt Collection: Circular reserves the right to engage an external debt collection agency or institution to recover any outstanding amounts owed by you. This includes, but is not limited to, unpaid subscription fees, Early Termination Charges, and Non-Return Fees.
  • Legal Actions: Additionally, Circular holds the right to file police reports if deemed necessary based on the situation.

It's important to note that our aim is to avoid these measures and maintain a positive relationship with all our subscribers. We strongly encourage you to communicate with us and make timely payments to prevent any need for such actions. Let's work together to ensure a smooth and enjoyable subscription experience.
